Vote Greg Ferris for County Commission in District 3

You likely received mailers paid for by my opponent with misleading information about tax liens and outright lies about me. Several years ago, the IRS attempted to disallow several deductions my business was rightfully claiming. I FOUGHT BACK and WON. As my opponent knows, all the liens were released. TRUTH MATTERS!!

We’ve seen liberals attack other conservatives and even prosecute people like President Trump. Now, my opponent is using the same methods to destroy my character and reputation with falsehoods and mistruths.

I’ve been a taxpayer in the Wichita area for my entire career. In my 25 years as a business consultant, I have represented my clients – individuals or businesses – with distinction and honor.

As I did in my 12 years on the Wichita City Council and now in my business and church, I will serve Sedgwick County based on Christian principles.

His collaborative relationships with elected officials and staff enable him to negotiate contracts, work with planning and building officials, and pass various local ordinances on behalf of his clients.

The owner of Ferris Consulting, a lifelong resident of Wichita, and a graduate of Wichita State University, Greg has been married for 36 years and has two sons and a daughter-in-law.

Reduced Property Tax Growth

Property valuations are rising dramatically.

Solving this problem will require the County Commission to work with the state lawmakers to find solutions. Greg is committed to controlling county spending, ensuring budgetary transparency, and working with state lawmakers to reduce valuation increases.

Citizen-Focused Initiatives

Improving the quality of life and the well-being of Sedgwick County residents requires intelligent, innovative initiatives to reduce costs by efficiently managing resources and enhancing public safety and welfare.

Mental health, homelessness, and substance abuse initiatives require working jointly with local and state governments. Greg will champion initiatives that provide measurable outcomes and make Sedgwick County a better, safer community.

Services

Sedgwick County’s most important job is to deliver accessible, responsive, and quality services to its citizens.

The County manages the Sedgwick County Zoo, Public Works, Emergency Management, Emergency Communications (911), EMS, Health Department, and Comcare and financially oversees the Sheriff’s Office, Sedgwick County Jail, Juvenile Detention Facilities, and the Courts.

Greg will prioritize balanced fiscal accountability and ongoing analysis of service delivery effectiveness.
